Update 3-15-08

Just finished and fresh out of the forge! This blade turned out well beyond my expectations and exhibits a gorgeous masame/ mokume mix ji-hada.  The hamon is midare transferring to suguha approxiamately 1/3 of the way down the blade and is reminiscent of a Yokoyama Bizen style blade. I attached a  picture to the right showing a traditional wakazashi done in a similar fashion.
The blade itself is forged using a kobuse construction made from a mixture of ore produced in Japan as well as some smelted by myself.  Please check out the available page for specs.
